  1. Accountable for Project Scheduling and Planning - Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules.
  2. Accountable for Progress Monitoring and Reporting - Track project progress against baseline plans, identify deviations, and prepare regular status reports and forecasts to support PMT.
  3. Accountable for Coordination and Communication - Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate planning inputs, manage schedule risks, WBS - work breakdown structure and support efficient resource allocation and coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing project schedule and planning using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with the (PEP) project execution plan & (PCP) project controls plan.
  • Supervise planners (if required) and oversee schedule updates, progress monitoring, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with the Project Controls Manager to ensure timely schedule updates & development.
  • Provide analytical tools like critical path reporting, "what-if" scenarios, 3months look-ahead reports.
  • Maintain S-Curves and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Excel for progress tracking.
  • Prepare narrative descriptions by compiling key inputs for weekly and monthly client reporting.
  • Support of Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA).
  • Maintain and update Integrated Level 3 schedules EPCIC Schedule.
  • Evaluate Level 4 schedules submitted by sub-contractors, assessing their progress measurement systems.
  • Track progress across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning.
  • Optimize resource utilization to enhance project efficiency.
  • Ensure contractor deliverables are clearly defined and monitored to prevent delays.
  • Development of Mitigation & Recovery Plan

Requirements:

  • Ideally, 3-5+ years of planning experience in oil and gas. Proven FPSO expertise is a plus.
  • Previous experience with international oil and gas operators is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of project management, risk management, and change management.
  • Preferred experience in a mid-senior planning role.
