Position Overview: To be overall responsible for the team of Supply Chain resources in the country of assignment. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Accountable to align the team with the global Supply Chain vision and strategy

• Close collaboration with Strategic Sourcing and the Supply Chain Management colleagues globally

• Support the standardization approach to synchronize the best practices within global Supply Chain

• Accountable to hire, train, and manage a team of Project Procurement Managers, Buyers, and Post Order Support Management Team

• Personnel management skills to build team and individual skills to enhance job satisfaction

• Accountable for timely personnel performance review per company policy

• Accountable to manage conflict resolution by partnering with HR per company policy

• Apply, Monitor, and Enhance the overall Supply Chain processes and work procedures

• Understand, align and develop the best execution structure to align with organization strategy with focus with Offshore Business Unit

• Skilled in Risk and Opportunity Management; be in close monitor of regional market condition

• Collaborate with other Discipline Department Leaders to enhance knowledge sharing to find opportunities to improve the best ways of working

• Support the development of Project Procurement Strategy at the onset of proposal/win phase

• Accountable to prepare man-planning of resources demand during proposal/win phase and execution readiness

• Maintain a healthy pool of 3rd party agencies to support any potential outsourcing resources for the Supply Chain team

• Accountable to collect and share ongoing lessons learned with global Supply Chain colleagues to analyse, develop, and implement best practices

• Monitor and support the development of regional Suppliers per global strategy

• Comply with policies related to financial, procurement, confidentiality, and risk management

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business (master’s is a plus)

• Minimum 10 years of strategic procurement experience with track records in Oil & Gas industry

• Demonstrated minimum 5 years of leadership skills in people management

• Skilled in sourcing, market/product/supplier analysis, negotiation, and contractual formulation

• Strong time management skills and problem-solving capabilities

• Experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholder
