Position Overview:
The Finance & Accounting Analyst will support the organization’s financial operations through accounting, treasury management, financial analysis, and reporting. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial records, monitor cash flow, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide insights to optimize financial performance. They will also maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements while improving financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare regular financial reports, including variance analysis and performance summaries.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Monitor cash positions and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Manage banking activities, payments, and liquidity planning.
- Support optimization of working capital and cash utilization.
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Track actual performance against budgets and analyze variances.
- Monitor operating costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
- Support initiatives aimed at cost optimization and financial discipline.
- Prepare financial documentation, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Comply with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Support audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Participate in training and development initiatives.
- Stay updated on accounting standards, financial tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, or equivalent) are advantageous.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in accounting, treasury, financial analysis, or related areas.
- Exposure to financial reporting, cash management, or budgeting processes preferred.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Excel or similar tools.
- Ability to manage data, perform reconciliations, and support audits.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in English is required (written & oral); additional (Korean) language skills are preferred.
