Position Overview:

 

The Local Content Analyst will support the implementation and monitoring of local content requirements in compliance with Brazilian regulations, particularly those established by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) and Petrobras.

This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and maintaining local content data, assisting with supplier compliance verification, preparing reports and documentation, and supporting project teams in achieving local content targets

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support compliance with ANP and Operator local content requirements throughout all phases of the project.
  • Monitor, track, and maintain local content data, records, and performance indicators.
  • Assist in the preparation, compilation, and submission of local content reports and supporting documentation required by ANP, Operator, and other relevant authorities.
  • Stay up to date with relevant legislative changes related to local content and advise management on possible impacts.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project team to identify and onboard local suppliers in compliance with EPCI local content project requirements.
  • Review suppliers’ local content evidence and supporting documentation to verify compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Support initiatives aimed at developing local suppliers, ensuring their capabilities meet project demands.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation teams and other involved areas to integrate local content strategies into project execution.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation teams to gather information and ensure accurate local content reporting.
  • Support communications and information exchanges with Operators, regulatory authorities, suppliers, and other stakeholders regarding local content matters.
  • Support audits and reviews conducted by operator, ensuring full transparency and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain local content databases, trackers, and reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy and traceability.
  • Support the development and implementation of internal procedures, guidelines, and best practices related to local content management.
  • Assist in preparing training materials, presentations, and awareness initiatives related to local content requirements.
  • Perform other related duties consistent with the nature and complexity of the position, as directed by leadership or organizational needs, ensuring alignment with the company’s values, policies, and objectives.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in local content compliance on contract management within EPCI in Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Familiarity with Petrobras contracts, supplier documentation, and local content reporting processes is desirable.
  • Familiarity with supplier qualifications and development processes within the Oil & Gas sector is desirable.
  • Experience in collecting, validating, and analyzing compliance-related data and documentation.
  • Ability to interpret regulations, contract requirements, and technical documentation to support local content compliance activities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, particularly advanced Excel tools (VBA), and experience with data management and reporting tools
  • Python basic knowledge is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (both verbal and written).
