Position Overview:
The Engineering Applications 3D Administrator is responsible for setting up, management and monitoring of AVEVA E3D and associated products. This role involves providing specialized application support services to develop and enhance data systems, in close collaboration with the Information Technology Department and the One Information System program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, manage and monitor AVEVA E3D and associated products (*) and/or AVEVA Marine projects and especially the integrity of the databases. AVEVA Administrator is responsible to setup, manage and monitor projects on AVEVA Global or Spectrum.
- Provide all required application software customizations for AVEVA E3D (and associated products) or AVEVA Marine to subcontractors needed for project realization
- Provide specialist front line problem solving and expert advice, assistance and support on AVEVA E3D or AVEVA Marine applications deployed and used across the company.
- Provide expert knowledge and support, testing and deployment of changes and improvements to the AVEVA E3D or AVEVA Marine tools set and applications.
- Recognize necessary improvements and makes suggestions to the discipline managers.
- Collaborate with the EIS team to support the deployment and integration of engineering software solutions.
(*) associated products means, engineering application software such as; AVEVA Global, AVEVA Spectrum, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Diagrams, etc.
Main Tasks:
- Support AVEVA E3D (and associated products) or AVEVA Marine users.
- Set-up AVEVA E3D, AVEVA Marine and MDS projects and administration.
- Set-up design and support Catalogues & Specifications for AVEVA E3D or AVEVA Marine.
- Setup & Administration of E3D Draw & Isometric template as per the project requirements
- Clash Checking Report Generation
- Support the development and deployment of AVEVA E3D or AVEVA Marine capability into the company.
- Ensure seamless interoperability between E3D and third-party tools by managing data exchange workflows and format compatibility
- Support integration with other AVEVA applications such as Engineering, P&ID, and Instrumentation to maintain data consistency and enhance cross-discipline collaboration.
- Manage crisis situations which may involve complex technical problems.
- Collaborate with EIS team for troubleshooting any application issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master Degree with at least 6 years’ experience as AVEVA Administrator on successful projects in relevant industry sector; e.g. Oil and Gas, Marine & Offshore, or Chemicals. A lower educational level could be compensated by more than 10 years of experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Engineering within the Oil & Gas or Offshore industry including engineering system and tool usage, development and management experience.
- Good knowledge / understanding of AVEVA E3D and associated products (*).
Skills:
- Additional experience is desired in the field of: 2D and/or 3D CAD software. (such as; Autodesk technologies), AVEVA Asset Information Management.
- Ability to write technical instructions in the use of AVEVA engineering applications software and/or develop small plugin applications with AVEVA PML / C# / Python language to meet project needs.
- Be autonomous, flexible and manage priorities. Be self-motivated to continually improve processes and methods. Work and manage different projects at same time. Work under pressure on fast-track projects.
- Travel occasionally to the company's various sites around the world for project’s needs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment and effectively manage ambiguity and change.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
