Electrical Designer

Position Overview:

Electrical Designer conducts process design and drafting under Principal or Lead Engineer or Sr Designer supervision mainly for Topside facilities in FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities.

The ideal candidate for the position  will have background in Offshore Oil & Gas Industry and  Hands-on experience in Engineering Management Platform (AVEVA etc.)/ SP3D SPEL, AutoCAD

This role may require occasional travel to the US, Europe, and Asia. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Under Head of Discipline, Principal or Lead Electrical Engineer or Designer's supervisor, conduct Electrical Design, Drafting, 3D Modeling for electrical Discipline, clash detection with other disciplines using AVEVA E3D's tools
• Participation on 30%, 60%, 90% model review and comment closure
• Designer to produce design drawings from sketches, notes, Review of vendor drawings –
• electrical deliverables, and generating bills of materials(BOMs), lists, and equipment Lists directly from the 3D model.
• Develop Electrical Design Database in Engineering information Management Platform.
• Ensure as-built Electrical deliverables

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical trade
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the offshore or onshore oil and gas industry
• Well Versed with Electrical Design Tool such as AutoCAD, AVEVA / E3D/ PDMS, SPEL ,MS office
• Ability to work with and to communicate effectively with co-workers and manage multiple priorities
• Good understanding in English, with good oral and written communication skills
