Position Overview:

 

Piping Designer Conducts Piping design and drafting under Principal/Lead Engineer or Senior Designer supervision mainly for Combine cycle, Gas Engine, BESS and renewable power plant EPC Project.

 

The ideal candidate for the position will have good knowledge of Piping Design, and Hands-on experience in Engineering Management Platform (AVEVA E3D/PDMS etc.)/AutoCAD.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support to Principal /Lead Engineer or Senior Designers
  • Conduct Piping Design and Drafting and 3D Modelling
  • Develop Piping Design Database in Engineering Management Platform.
  • Preparation of piping study drawing, Nozzle orientation, Equipment Layout, Piping GA, etc.
  • Participation in 3D model review and comment closure
  • Review Vendor Documents, Engineering deliverables and Piping Deliverables
  • Prepare as-built Piping deliverables
  • Coordinate with other designers and disciplines to resolve minor layout and modeling issues under guidance

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Piping engineering design & Drafting / Modeling.
  • Working experience in Combined Cycle Power Plants is value added.
  • Prior experience of international EPC projects is preferred.
  • Proficiency in 3D modelling tools AVEVA E3D, AutoCAD, PDMS etc.
  • Ability to work with and to communicate effectively with co-workers and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good understanding in English, with good oral and written communication skills
