Role Overview:
Supports the management of project data throughout EPCI project lifecycle. E
Responsibilities:
Engineering Data Management
- Support the development and maintenance of engineering data structures, tag registers, and master data for EPCI projects. Maintain engineering deliverable metadata and assist in managing the project class library. Ensure engineering data is consistently captured and maintained across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. Assist in maintaining engineering databases and digital handover datasets.
Data Quality & Governance
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks across project data repositories. Support implementation of data governance procedures, standards, and workflows.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with client information standards and project data specifications.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines, information management teams and project stakeholders to collect and verify project data.
- Support alignment of tagging philosophy, equipment hierarchy, and asset data requirements.
- Assist in resolving data inconsistencies and supporting project teams in meeting data requirements.
- Participate in data coordination meetings and support follow-up actions to close data gaps.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, or equivalent).
- 3–6 years of experience in oil & gas, offshore EPC/EPCI, or engineering project environments.
- Experience supporting engineering data management or project data administration is preferred.
- Exposure to engineering databases, commissioning/completions databases, or engineering information systems is advantageous.
- Prior experience in FPSO, offshore platforms, or large EPC/EPCI projects is a plus.
- Basic understanding of engineering tagging philosophy and equipment hierarchy.
- Familiarity with engineering deliverables and lifecycle data.
- Proficiency in Excel, with exposure to SQL, Power BI, or data analysis tools considered an advantage.
