Position Overview
This role is responsible for executing procurement and sourcing activities to support project delivery in EPC environments. The position ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of goods and services aligned with project requirements.
The incumbent manages or supports supplier selection, RFQ processes, bid evaluation, contract execution, and supplier performance monitoring. The role ensures alignment with commercial objectives, technical requirements, and project schedules while maintaining compliance with governance and procurement policies.
The position contributes to project success by managing supplier relationships, ensuring delivery reliability, and optimizing cost and quality outcomes.
This role requires strong negotiation skills, commercial understanding, and experience in global supply chain and EPC procurement processes.
The role supports reliable and cost-effective project delivery by integrating procurement strategy, supplier performance, subcontract management, contract administration, logistics planning, and material availability with project priorities. It is expected to maintain close coordination with engineering, quality, construction, finance, and project controls to ensure that supply chain activities support schedule commitments, technical compliance, and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibility
- Follow up vendors on document and manufacturing schedules
- Update expediting status reports and action logs
- Track identified delays and escalate critical issues
- Coordinate with buyers, inspectors, and logistics personnel
- Support expediting visits and vendor communication records
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of assigned orders
Qualification
- 5~10 years of procurement, expediting, or supplier management experience in EPC or industrial projects
- Good knowledge of manufacturing progress monitoring, document control, and logistics interfaces
- Strong issue follow-up, prioritization, and communication capability
- English communication skills required
