Role Overview: 

To provide quality surveillance of equipment or materials purchased from Supplier 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in bid clarification and Supplier pre-inspection meetings
  • Review and understand the approved Supplier Inspection Test Plan
  • Establish equipment/material plan per inspection activities
  • Work with $3^{rd}$ party Inspection Agencies to identify appropriate Inspector to perform inspection scope
  • Prepare and issue inspection work order requirement to $3^{rd}$ party Inspection Agency
  • Expedite Supplier's notice of inspection per agreed schedule
  • Coordinate Client, certifying authority, and project members to attend inspection activities per Project Inspection Plan (PIP)
  • Expedite, review, and issue Inspection Report (IR) and final Inspection Release Certificate (IRC) to designed project team members
  • Distribute all project non-conformities (NCR) and follow-up until resolution with respective team members
  • Ensure all incomplete, carry-over, punch items are well documented before issuing conditional inspection release on agreement with project management team
  • Communicate all incomplete, carry-over, punch items with Expediting and Construction team to follow up until completion
  • Update all activities to project Inspection Progress Report (IPR)
  • Any other proactive measures to maintain delivery performance

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or five (5) years of relevant working experience in related fields.
  • Knowledge of Oil & Gas Industry code of standards and specification
  • Demonstrate strong planning skill to manage demanding deadlines
  • Strong time management skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
