Qualifications

 

  • Leads project scheduling & planning process and supervise a group of planners in preparing and incorporating project execution plan into the overall project schedule using planning software for designated project(s) involving schedule updating and analysis, progress monitoring, and preparation of various reports to ensure timely completion of the project(s).
  • Coordinates all efforts to collate and compile the necessary information to support timely schedule development and reporting for project controls manager.
  • Provides reports, “look aheads”, critical path reporting, “what-if” scenarios, and other relevant tools that will assist in planning and schedule analysis.
  • Develops, maintain and update s-curves and key performance indicators (KPI) for various disciplines in software system or MS Excel format for progress monitoring and reporting purposes.
  • Provides narrative description for relevant reports, including weekly & monthly report to client and consolidates inputs from various disciplines for project management team’s review.
  • Reviews and evaluate submitted schedule of all contractors including their progress tracking/measurement system.
  • Tracks and monitor the progress of the project including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and installation. Implements and monitors the schedules of each project stage/milestone and the entire project until completion and close-out.
  • Identifies and leverage on opportunities to optimize maximum resource utilization for efficient execution/organization of the project activities.
  • Ensures timing of deliverables of contractor are adequately, clearly defined and diligently tracked to prevent or minimize delay.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree, Master’s Degree, Marine Degree/Diploma Graduates in Oil & Gas related.
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years or above of planning experience in Oil & Gas especially FPSO shipbuilding or shipyard and onshore/offshore experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of project management, risk management and change management processes.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in planning management software i.e. Primavera, etc.
  • Good understanding of oil & gas offshore facility construction project schedules and requirements.
  • Good leadership and problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during project execution.
