Position Overview:

 

Execute piping engineering for offshore topside projects, including system design, layout, routing, stress analysis, and material selection. Prepare and review piping deliverables while ensuring compliance with project standards and international codes. Lead design reviews, model checks, and technical issue resolution. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration, quality deliverables, and timely project execution, while supporting construction and commissioning activities.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Execute Piping Engineering for Offshore Topside Projects

  • Perform design and engineering activities for piping systems, including layout, routing, flexibility analysis, and material selection.
  • Prepare and review key deliverables such as piping layout drawings, isometric drawings, MTOs, and line lists in accordance with project requirements.
  • Ensure designs comply with client specifications, project standards, and relevant international codes (ASME, API, ISO).

Lead Design Review, Quality, and Technical Coordination

  • Review and approve piping deliverables prepared by junior engineers and designers to ensure technical accuracy and quality.
  • Conduct and participate in 3D model reviews, clash checks, and constructability reviews with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering issues related to piping layout, supports, and interfaces with equipment and structures.

Support Project Execution and Interface Management

  • Coordinate closely with process, mechanical, structural, and other engineering disciplines to ensure proper integration of piping systems.
  • Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for technical clarifications, document reviews, and FAT/SAT when required.
  • Monitor progress of assigned piping activities to meet project schedule and deliverables, supporting construction and commissioning teams as needed.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Piping or relevant Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years experience in the offshore or onshore oil and gas industry
  • Minimum consecutive 5 years experience at top-tier FPSO contractor or Offshore/Onshore EPC contractor (minimum 5 continuous years working experience in the same contractor)
  • Minimum 1 FPSO EPCI Project experience from the begining of project (engineering) until the sail away to site or delivery of FPSO
  • Hands-on Piping engineering experience in FPSO or Offshore EPCI projects, especially Topside Piping Design Basis, Topside Layout, Pipe Routing, Pipe Stress Analysis, Material Specification, Material Procurement Engineering and Supervision of Topside Detailed Engineering Organization or Subcontractors.
  • Hands-on Field Engineering in Construction phase is value-added.
  • Well Versed with Piping Engineering Tool such as CEASER II
  • Extensive knowledge of Piping engineering practices, principles, industry codes and standards - as well as an understanding of scientific methods of problem-solving.
  • Fluent in English, with strong oral and written communication skills
