Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Data Analyst to support FPSO EPCI project execution through effective data management, analytics, visualization & reporting. The role will focus on transforming large volumes of project data into meaningful insights and client deliverables through dashboards and reporting tools.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Information Management team, project management teams, and digital vendors to ensure project data is accurately captured, properly structured, and effectively utilized for project monitoring and reporting & delivery.

Key Responsibility

Data Analysis & Visualization

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualization tools using Power BI or similar platforms to support project monitoring and decision-making. Convert raw project data into meaningful insights for internal stakeholders and client reporting.

Data Transformation & Reporting

Extract, process, and transform data from databases or other project systems to produce project reports, analytics, and client deliverables. Prepare structured datasets suitable for visualization, reporting, and project performance tracking. Develop automated reporting templates to improve efficiency and consistency.

Data Logic & System Understanding

Understand the data structure, data relationships, and logic across various project systems and databases. Work with Information Management teams to ensure project data is properly interpreted and used for project deliverables. Apply scripting tools (e.g., Python or other solutions) when visualization tools alone cannot meet data processing or transformation needs.

Collaboration with Digital Teams

Coordinate with internal digital teams and external vendors responsible for data lake management and system integration. Support verification that project data is transmitted to the data lake in a timely and accurate manner. Assist in troubleshooting data issues affecting dashboards, reports, or deliverables.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or project data management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL querying and database data extraction.
• Proven experience in Power BI dashboard development and data visualization.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and transform them into usable reports and dashboards.
• Basic scripting capability (e.g., Python) for data manipulation when required.
• Familiarity with data lake environments and project data platforms is an advantage.
• Experience supporting large engineering or construction projects is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong data validation capability.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary project environment.
