Position Overview:

 

The Project Engineer is responsible for driving and coordinating assigned multi-disciplinary packages through EPCIC project phases ensuring strict adherence to the project schedule, quality standard, proactive and data driven reporting. This role focuses on day to day management of multi-disciplinary interfaces across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Integration and commissioning ensuring seamless alignment and transition throughout the project lifecycle.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive and facilitate seamless handover between engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
  • Act as the primary focal point for day-to-day multidisciplinary coordination with discipline engineers, vendors, yard and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all project activities align with the project master schedule
  • Monitor progress, identify risk early, and implement recovery plans to maintain project critical path.
  • Support technical reviews, design development, and resolution of engineering issues.
  • Maintain transparent communication with engineering disciplines, vendors, yard, subcontractors and site teams
  • Ensure engineering activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes and procedures.
  • Deliver clear data-driven reports on project status, risks, and performance to the Project Manager.
  • Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline).
  • Minimum 8–12 years of engineering experience in offshore oil & gas projects.
  • Experience working in EPC/EPCI project environments.
  • Strong ability to facilitate collaboration across engineering disciplines, procurement and site teams to ensure alignment and clear information flow.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
