Responsibilities:-

  • Close liaison and be the left/right hand of the Package Manager.
  • Organize and attend the package kick off meeting.
  • Monitor purchase order progress as per agreed delivery performance.
  • Be the custodian of the agreed package schedule with Supplier.
  • Understand the manufacturing flow of the Supplier.
  • Expedite timely submission of Supplier Progress Reports and regular progress communication.
  • Analyse reported progress for any potential gaps and/or findings that may impact delivery performance.
  • Work with Supplier and Project team on recovery plan if schedule is not met; report any non-conformance / non-compliance.
  • Arrange field expediting visits proactively to avoid major delivery impact on identification of performance gap on consultation with Package Manager and Project Procurement Manager.
  • Act as the first escalation point to the project management team of any gaps.
  • Proactively expedite Supplier documentation submission; be the interface between Suppliers and Project Team to drive timely approvals, special attention to project key documents.
  • Be aware of project Require at Site (RAS) dates to be proactively communicating with Construction team of any potential delivery issues.
  • Expedite Supplier to submit Notification of Inspection (NOI) in accordance with the agreed package schedule.
  • Support Logistics team in timely request of require shipping documents, e.g.: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, general arrangement drawings for out of gauge shipment, etc.
  • Prepare Release for Shipment (RFS) for Package Manager approval on acceptance from final inspection.
  • Maintain evergreen update on order progress via expediting database to generate Expediting Tracking Report (ETR).
  • Assist Package Manager and Buyer to close-out purchase order with input to Supplier performance evaluations.
  • Any other proactive measures to maintain delivery performance.

 

Requirements:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business; and minimum five (5) years and above of relevant working experience in related expediting and inspection fields.
  • Experience working in manufacturing/offshore/onshore facility; with Oil & Gas product knowledge is a plus.
  • Demonstrate strong planning skill to manage demanding deadlines.
  • Strong time management skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
