Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare and develop logistics plan for the transportation of project cargos
  • Issue project logistics packing, marking, and preservation instruction to Suppliers
  • Closely monitor international rules and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Engage with logistics providers to establish logistics requirement
  • Advance preparation for out-of-gauge cargos to ensure space allocation with transport carriers, clear licensing and permitting requirement, coordinate with Supplier and construction yard
  • Review for accuracy of shipping documents
  • Issue shipment collection instruction to logistics provider for timely transport collection
  • Monitor materials until delivery for clean proof of delivery or address all OS&D issues until resolution
  • Timely update of Logistics Progress Report (LPR)
  • Analyse and control logistics spend to budget
  • Close liaison with the Package Manager, Expeditor, and Material Controllers
  • Any other proactive measures to maintain delivery performance 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics or business; and minimum five (5) years and above of relevant working experience in
    logistics fields with out-of-gauge experience preferably in oil & gas industry 
  • Experience working in logistics and/or transportation with freight forwarding or transport carriers
  • Demonstrate strong planning skill to manage demanding deadlines
  • Strong time management skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
